Leader In Me

Saint Adalbert Catholic Academy is an official Leader in Me school, with teachers trained through the Franklin Covey Program.

 

Our first year of the program focused on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. In completing the program, we became a Lighthouse School and created our own school-wide movement focusing on how our community is a light and brick support system to one another.

 

The next year, we applied concepts of the program to our school acronym SACA to focus on Stewardship, Appreciation, Character, and Action.

 

This year we are using Jon Gordon’s One Word (That Will Change Your Life) to focus on one area we can improve and by choosing a saint for each month and then each class selects one word that best describes him or her.

 

Each Leader in Me theme is accompanied by a monthly school assembly where students from each class present material on the topic.
