iReady
iReady is a data-driven program which is used to push instruction and support student learning.
Each year, students take three diagnostic tests in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. These tests provide national norm performance data and lexile scores for reading measure. The program provides typical and stretch growth measures to differentiate instruction for each student. Teachers utilize the data to create instructional groups for different learning activities and centers throughout the units of study.

The ELA components of iReady focus on phonological awareness, phonics, high-frequency words, vocabulary, and literature/ informational text comprehension. The Math components emphasize number and operations, algebra and algebraic thinking, measurement and data, and geometry.

Saint Adalbert Catholic Academy has been recognized as being one of the top schools in its use of iReady to build both performance and growth. The concepts and wording of the iReady activities align to those on the New York State tests which help our students perform at a high rate each year.
