8th Grade HS Application Information

It has come to our attention that students are requesting recommendation letters from multiple teachers, to send to multiple schools. Some of these schools have specifically stated they do not use recommendation letters, yet students continue to collect and send them.

 

All recommendation letters should be used only for first choice high schools, and no more than 2 letters should be sent. Some schools do have specific scholarships that require a teacher recommendation. Ms. Cardona should be made aware of any letters used for need-based scholarship applications as she normally handles these requests .

 

Please make sure that you alert Ms. Cardona of all recommendation letters that are sent as she is the 8th grade HR teacher and HS coordinator.
