Meet the Teacher Ms. Santana is the 5th grade ELA and Science teacher. Ms. Santana has always had a passion for teaching, while at the same time caring for the social-emotional development of her students. In 2014, she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Childhood Psychology. Then in 2016, she completed her Master’s Degree in Childhood Education. Ms. Santana does not believe that the purpose of education is just to fill the minds of students with facts but to teach them to think for themselves, while carefully utilizing a range of pedagogical approaches to ensure that learning occurs and that diverse needs of different learners are met.
