COVID Testing
MyOnSite, our COVID testing provider, is scheduled to come on Thursday morning December 10 at 8:30am, to perform our mandated testing.
The testing requirements have recently changed to include results from the past two weeks. There have been several students tested for various reasons in that time period. If enough additional parents are willing to have their student tested and have their results before December 10, there is a possibility we won’t need MyOnSite to come. If you would strongly consider this possibility, the academy would greatly appreciate it. If interested, please complete the following survey. You do NOT have to complete the survey if you do not consent to have your student tested.
Parent Teacher Conferences and Report Cards
Conferences will be held on Thursday December 10 from 5:30 to 7:00pm and Friday December 11 from 2:00 to 3:30pm. Sign-ups will be available through the Parent Portal on OptionC on Monday at 12 noon. Due to the Pandemic, it is Diocesan policy to have remote conferences. The teacher will provide a Zoom Link on the day of your scheduled time where you will enter the Waiting Room. The teacher will let you when the conference begins. If a previous conference goes a few minutes longer, we ask for your patience and understanding. This round, sign-ups will only be available with the homeroom teachers. If you would like to meet with a teacher other than the homeroom teacher, please contact the teacher directly or email/Remind Mr Morris and he will help schedule the conference. Report Cards will be available for viewing on the Parent Portal at 4:00 pm on Thursday. Please contact the school if you need your parent account log-in information.
Giving Tree
The Christmas Giving Tree Program has been an annual event where gifts are purchased by parishioners to help less fortunate children. This year due to the pandemic and for health concerns of all, we will be collecting GIFT CARDS to distribute to families to purchase gifts. There is a great need for gifts this year and any donation you can make will be greatly appreciated. Help bring a smile to a child.
All gift cards are to be returned to school no later than December 17 for distribution. Gift cards should include the gift receipt attached to the card and be sent in with the student. There are a number of pre-selected Gift Card amounts hanging from the tree in the office if your student would like to continue the tradition of coming over to select an amount. If interested, please let the student’s teacher know so he/she can be brought to the office to make a selection.
