UPDATE CONCERNING THE SCHOOL SCHEDULE
At our last Board of Directors meeting, the results of the Parent Survey were discussed as well as the other Catholic school schedules in our area. The Board has recommended that we return to a normal school schedule with a 3:00pm dismissal as soon as it is feasible to do so.
In order to give everyone the consideration of planning and scheduling as well as incorporating concerns from the pandemic, we will tentatively set the date of Tuesday, January 18 to return to the full 3pm schedule, which is the day after students return from Martin Luther King weekend. SONYC and After-School would begin at 3pm. Depending on the status of the pandemic at the time, we may decide to push the start date back further, but for now, we plan to fully reopen on January 18. More information will follow closer to the date.

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE SIGNUP
This trimester for Parent Teacher Conference Sign-Up, we will utilize the website Sign-Up Genius. Meetings will be done via Zoom. In order to help meet the demand to schedule with certain teachers, conference sign-up will not be mandatory unless requested by the teacher. Thus there will be two dates for sign-ups. Please see the following timeline:
Wednesday 6 pm- Parents with Teacher requests will be emailed the SignUp Link.
Thursday 6 pm - Parents with Teacher requests will be emailed a SignUp reminder
Friday 4 pm - SignUp will be open to all parents through the emailed link
Thursday 12/9 4pm - All parents will be emailed the Report Card
5:30pm - 7:00pm Evening Session Zoom Conferences
Friday 12/10 2:00pm - 3:30pm Afternoon Session Zoom Conferences

Website — We are excited to announce that we will be upgrading our website later this week. All of the same features will be viewable but just in a different format.
(Cake Sale Money Due) – This is the last call to send in cake sale money tomorrow. A special thanks for all those who have purchased cakes so far.
Thanksgiving Food drive donations – are due on Thursday. We appreciate your generosity.
Gym Floor Update – Due to damage from Hurricane Ida, the drain pipe nearest the Gym will be extended and then the Gym will be restored with its wooden floor. Work will start over Thanksgiving break and will limit its use until January. Stay tuned for an update on Early Drop-off location.
Forms for CYO Basketball Registration for students in Grades 2 & 8- went home with students today. Please note the date #s were incorrect on the flyer but the days are correct – Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday for registration. You must register in person.
Due to the colder weather, Shorts will not be allowed – for Gym and Dress Down until the Spring. Students should wear long pants going forward. This is of course subject to change If there is any unseasonable weather.
